Network of Eritrean Women-UK

We work towards ensuring a life free from inequality and discrimination for every woman.

About Us

NEW-UK is a women’s non-profit organization set up to support Eritrean women. NEW-UK’s goal is to empower and inspire women to create a society in which they:

-Are safe and free from fear and violence
-Enjoy their human rights
-Enjoy good health and wellbeing
-Achieve social standing

We will do this by promoting women’s rights; raising awareness within the Eritrean community towards ending gender inequalities, violence against women and harmful practices such as forced marriage and FGM. NEW-UK would like community members to be able to integrate into Britain and have the same accessibility to health, education and community services as everyone else.
